I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor and also hold a diploma in art therapy. Prior to working in private practice I worked in the NHS and my specialisms include disordered eating (binge eating, compulsive eating, bulimia and anorexia) and bereavement.
Finding the right therapist can feel like a daunting task but actually involves two steps. The first is to find a suitably qualified therapist registered with an appropriate body such as the BACP or UKCP. However, tools, techniques and how good a therapist looks on paper doesn’t matter if they simply don’t ‘get’ you so the second step is to find someone who does and to help you decide if I might be the right therapist for you, I offer an initial no-obligation consultation at a fee of £50.
I strive for an inclusive practice that welcomes and is affirming of people of all orientations and genders, those of all ages, nationalities and ethnicities, and those of all spiritual and/or religious identities, including those with identify as having no religion.
